Meets the second Friday of each month 2pm – 4pm

The Ilkley Stroke Club is open to people who have survived a stroke be it recently or some years ago, regardless of the level and type of impairment as a result of the stroke.
The Club provides an opportunity to meet and talk with other stroke survivors and take part in a range of activities.

*Today we talk about DYSARTHRIA "Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder in which the muscles that are used to produce speech are damaged, paralyzed, or weakened. The person with dysarthria cannot control their tongue or voice box and may slur words. There are strategies to improve communication."
